How to Grow
Takes about 2 weeks to germinate. Plants dislike being transplanted; direct seed into garden after danger of frost has passed. Succession plant every few weeks to extend harvest. Must be staked or will topple in heavy spring rains.
Harvesting/Vase Life
Pick when one-third to one-half of flowers on stem are open. If drooping, sear stems ends in boiling water for 5-7 seconds. A vase life of 5-7 days can be expected.
